    Description

    Japenese signal flag; World War ll; 27"w x 35"l.  The flag is made of white silk with center red circle. Top corners are reinforced with leather triangles with ties.  The white color has aged to an off white.  There are areas of fabric wear; the photo captures these areas as black spots.  However, they are not actually black but rather are bald spots perceptible only at close range. There is no fraying; edges are intact. There are no fabric tears.  Folding creases in the fabric are due to storage through the years.
